1. ASH talk @ Judge Business School (28 Jan)
ASH Talk is going to take place at Judge Business School between 2-3pm. The speaker is “Apipon Net Methachittipan” with the topic “Carbon Nanotube: The Holy Grail of Nanotechnology”. If anyone is interested in joining this event please contact P Golf or fill this form.

3. Regional sports game(25 Feb)
This sport event is arranged by Birmingham University who wants to get Thai people in East Anglia to play sport together as a social event. 4.Oxbridge game (4 March)
We are going to oxford this time. Please register in doodle for transportation and sport even if you have done the Facebook one already. (http://www.doodle.com/ev98rrzn4iyztyfc) I am glad to inform you that CUTS is subsidizing the cost of Oxbridge game participants so the total that you have to pay including team shirt, transportation and food is only 10 pounds, which is incredibly cheap. Please contact sport rep (nic) if you have any questions (07429263985) Once you have completed the poll, Please pay as soon as possible so we can book the bus. PLEASE PAY BY 4TH FEBUARY. 5. Thai night (11 march)
We are holding Thai night at Guildhall this term. Please give us a hand as we need a lot of help from everyone to make this a successful event. If you can play music, please register in Facebook page. Contact Kampoo for extra information (http://www.facebook.com/kampoo.vanapanubet)
If you would like to help Thai Night in any aspect, please fill in the form in the following link to inform us what time you would be available for Thai Night preparation meeting. (The meeting is very likely to be at the coming weekend – 28-29Jan12.)
Thai night is traditionally an event which we are trying to show everyone our culture and food. It is also a good opportunity to meet new friends. This year we have availability of 200 tickets. If you need any tickets please contact any member of the committee as soon as possible.
6. Samaggi Game(18 March)
We are going to Warwick for Samaggi game. This is the largest sporting event for thai society and we are joining force with oxford. It would be very nice if we can win this year. Please register in the following Doodle as well. The transportation cost will be 25 pounds. CUTS promise to subsidize the extra cost

1. CUTS Stash
This year we have hoodies and very nice T-shirts. However, everything will be sold after Oxbridge games only. We are giving T-shirts out for free to people who participate in Oxbridge game.
2. Sport selection procedure
For Oxbridge and samaggi
- Badminton : we have availabilities for 4 men and 1 woman. So if more than 4 people register, we will have to decide with a ladder.
- Table tennis : This will be decided by Tua http://www.facebook.com/Psychoror
- Squash : This will be decided by Nic Wanavit
- Team sports : Everyone will be able to participate in team sport provided that you have registered and paid.
- Any other sports : please contact Nic Wanavit
3. Transport arrangement for all sport games
We are taking a bus to all sports game so please complete the doodle forms and pay into the account by 4th February so we can book a place for you. Contact Nic Wanavit for more information
Regional (transportation to be decided)
4. Thai temple building donation
CUTS is planning to donate money to build a temple in Cambridge. Anyone who is interested in helping us with donation are welcomed, please contact any of the committee.
5. Sponsor announcement
We are supported by Hatari , Bangkok Prep, Thai Embassy, and Bangkok Bank. We would appreciate any other sponsorship so we can arrange more activities.
Past activities and news
1. Flood donation
We have managed to raise 734.14 pounds of donation for flooding. Congratulation to everyone, we have done some good things to Thailand, the money will be used to help people who are affected by the flood, rebuild houses, improve cleanliness etc.. Thanks for people who participated in Halloween party, which has a large contribution to this amount.
2. Kings birthday celebration
We have managed to get monks to pray in Cambridge for the first time ever. History belonged to us !!! haha. A big thank to everyone who participates in the event which was hugely successful.
